Catgut is a special thread that shows true aspect when wet. Very natural nymph and larval bodies can be made from catgut.

Tip: Cut off a suitable length of catgut and place 1cm of catgut in the water for approx. 1 minute. The tip of the catgut becomes soft and you can tie the catgut onto the hook better!!!
