Vision MERISUOLA GRAPHENE fly rod
With the introduction of the XO Graphene rods, we have very successfully expanded the XO rod series. We wanted to do the same for the Merisuola range because Merisuola and Graphene really belong together. With this new material available for these rods, and being the strongest tested material in the world, these rods are begging to go after larger predatory fish. When one of these rods is cast for the first time, the difference is immediately noticeable.
Graphene makes it possible to make stronger rods with less material, resulting in incredible strength in action combined with a smooth action. The backbone of the Merisuola Graphene family is four-piece, lightweight, fast-action saltwater rods suitable for all species of bonefish in the Caribbean, sea trout in the Baltic and GTs in the Pacific. Everything we've learned from over 20 years of rod design and manufacturing has gone into these rods.
We provide a rating for the carbon used in each of our graphite rods. The higher the number, the higher the modulus of carbon used for the rod. The rating is closely related to the tonnage of carbon in each rod. However, this is not the whole truth as we use different carbon blends to achieve the desired rod action and the resins also differ from model to model. However, this information is an indication of the main carbon content of the blank. Our premium rods use graphene in the resin and are marked with the Graphene logo.Details:
