Semi-translucent: the slightly transparent material makes the flies appear more natural than more opaque materials.

Resistant and flexible: As soon as the fly rests on the water, the fibers return to their original position. This is an excellent way to present CDC flies.

The fine fibers also play excellently underwater, which is why we also like to use CDC for nymphs and small streamers.

Since the material is very soft, the fish perceive it as more natural, so that when a bite occurs, the fish does not immediately reject the fly, as is sometimes the case with harder materials.
