Chamoise chamois hair fly tying
Chamois hair is an interesting material and is mostly used for dry flies. In the 50 years, the great material has regained popularity among fly tyers in the Alpine regions. The slightly coarser, thin, very well-floating material can be used as wing material for dry flies. Traditionally, chamois hair is placed in the loop with CDC and some dubbing to create beautiful thorax or body.
